Feeding & fertilizer

What N-P-K means and a year-round feeding calendar you can trust.

Fertilizer isn't medicine — it's groceries. Feed during the growing season and your plant has the building blocks to push out new leaves.

⚠️

Less is more. Feeding at half the recommended strength avoids burnt roots and brown leaf tips. Never feed a bone-dry or stressed plant.

Signs you're feeding wrong

🥗 Too much feed

  • White crust on the soil
  • Brown, burnt leaf tips
  • Wilting despite moist soil

🍽️ Too little feed

  • Pale, yellow-green leaves
  • Tiny new growth
  • No new leaves in months
